River Valley Motor Inn

1st let me say sorry for the pictures, I normally take them when I get there but was tired and took this after the stay. Overall I wasn't expecting much as this is a small town so what I got was what I paid for. The staff was friendly when I arrived and left. Overall I was surprised by the size of the room for the price as I have stayed in others that where way smaller. I was pleased with what was in the room like the desk, the eating area, mini fridge and microwave and also the up to date tv. The only bad thing I noticed was the shower head needs a new seal and the toilet bolts are rusted that it moved and I was worried it would flip over. Other thing was iron didn't work, which normally I bring mind but forgot so I relied on the hotel one. Would I stay here again, definitely.

We stayed one night. Bruce the hotel manager was amazing if you had any problem he made sure it was taken care of without any worries. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well taken care of, good hot water with a lot of pressure in the shower.

Very clean spacious rooms with new floors. No carpet, yay! Modern comfortable furnishings, bed was comfortable. Front desk was friendly and accomodating to our needs. Check out is at noon, which is always a plus in my book Way cheaper than the Hampton literally across the street.

Nicest place we have stayed at under 100.00. Very clean smelled great and the owner Bruce could not have made our stay any better!!!! When you come to his hotel he takes care of you like you are his family i can't say enough about Bruce what a great guy and human being. We look forward to staying there again!

The price was really great, considering it was during Hurricane Beryl. Our room was renovated and it was really nice. Bruce was really courteous and kind during checkout and offered to help with anything he could.

Great refuge for the night. Bruce is an honorable man. He is keeping prices low while all other hotels I called are jacking up the prices due to the recent hurricane Beryl. Thank you Bruce for your kindness during this time.

We needed a last minute room on a weekend with 2 large, local events going on so all of the larger hotels were booked up. This is an older place but very clean, well kept and great service.

Staff were curtious upon initial interaction. Great experience so far, in my second week. Housekeeping is very professional and courteous, too. Very professional and enjoyable experience in its entirety. They offer a barbecue/eating area. Sink, outlets, lighting, counter tops, island table, bench seating, and it's all pavilion covered. As an out of town worker, a great place for or crew to enjoy eating together. The only disappointment I have had is the drier blows cold air only. And that isn't a problem. Plenty of railing or a laundromat is a short drive away. Absolutely would stay here again. Thanks to all the employees for making it a great place to be when you can't be home.
